Green Roofs & Walls

We redefine what the industry has come to expect from green roofs and walls. Moving beyond the predictable sedum roof, we believe green roofs and walls should be vibrant and positively benefit the environment.

Designed with care and experience, green rooftops, walls and terraces can aid urban heating, improve air quality, encourage biodiversity and become outdoor talking points without draining resources or causing excess weight.

By thinking sustainably and in an upward direction – not just about how we grow at ground level - green roofs can become multi-dimensional habitat havens.

Many city rooftops and walls have non-negotiable vents, steel and pipework, but we create green rooftop art with biodiversity built in. Using thoughtful planting, growing mediums and recycled materials in the most unlikely places.

Track & Plan Tree Maintenance

We offer a range of tree maintenance and reporting services.

Our reports range from ensuring your trees are safe (Standard Tree Survey) to creating an inventory (Geo Tagging) and measuring their sustainable tree value (Ecological TREE Survey).

Standard Tree Survey Report

Creates a full site plan, identifying the trees you have. Lists them, tags them and gives every tree a number, type, height, age, health and determines a programme of maintenance.

Geo Tagging

A sustainable, high tech tree inventory and asset management software. It gives clients the data they need to track and plan future tree-maintenance. So, they can budget for replacement costs if a tree were to fall.

Ecological Tree Survey

Get closer to carbon neutrality by understanding the environmental value of each tree.

This powerful ecological survey tool gives clients valuable insights into each tree. By logging the size, species and location of the trees and overlaying the app’s scientific algorithms we can calculate how much carbon is stored in each tree, how much oxygen each one produces, carbon sequestration, energy effects, aesthetic value, potential pest impacts, avoided run off and air pollution levels. A ton of valuable data for companies reporting to the board, working on sustainability goals, community relations and risk assessment/mitigation and budgeting.

For the Q&S team, these insights let us ascertain how best to maintain the trees and create/harness natural habitats for birds and bugs and wildlife corridors for bats. Improving the wider ecosystem.
