Recognised for Gardening the Right Way. Q&S Awarded EcoVadis Bronze
Q&S has been awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Medal, placing us in the top 35% of the 150,000+ companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide over the past 12 months. Not bad for a bunch of disruptive urban horticulturalists.
It's a milestone we're genuinely proud of, and one that gives our clients and partners independent proof of something we've always believed: that doing right by people and planet is at the heart of good horticulture.
What is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis is one of the most trusted sustainability rating platforms in the world, assessing organisations across four pillars - Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement – pillars which match our own. Drawing on experience, policies and real-world results rather than unfounded claims. For Q&S - working across every kind of green environment, from terraces and rooftops to the gardens of hospitals, business parks and mixed-use corporate campuses (a mix of offices, residential, hospitality and retail) right through to the green spaces shared by a brand new village – this kind of rigorous, third-party scrutiny matters. It's the difference between saying we work sustainably and demonstrating it.

Our Overall Score: 72
Of our total score, we’re particularly proud of our Environment score of 77, which reflects our company-wide commitment to verified carbon reporting across Scopes 1 and 2, laying the foundations to capture Scope 3, responsible waste management, water use and our progress towards net zero.

Watch this space
We're proud of what Bronze represents, but we're nowhere near finished. EcoVadis looks at how we run our business - our carbon emissions across Scopes 1 and 2, our procurement, our supplier standards and our company ethics. But we’re just as focused on what happens on the ground: the plants we specify and the habitats we create; holding business practices and gardening practices to the same standard. We’re incredibly proud of the Q&S team as we celebrate our Bronze Medal today, and already excited for what comes next.
