Spring Greens Harvest on the Rooftop
We recently celebrated a bumper crop of gorgeous greens from the greenhouse - right in the heart of London’s Cardinal Place, Victoria.
The 2026 spring season’s harvest included organically grown spring greens, purple sprouting broccoli and early leeks – all started as seeds on our rooftop and picked at peak freshness. Thanks to plenty of winter rainfall and a welcome burst of sunshine, the crop has been especially lush this year.
And even better, the produce doesn’t have to travel far. Everything is delivered straight to their Cardinal Place catering contractors - Restaurant Associates - and served in their on-site The Landing Café for colleagues, tenants and visitors to enjoy - fresh, local and grown a few floors up!
A brilliant example of circular process in action, from seed to plate. The produce is grown, harvested and enjoyed all within the same building, creating a truly local and sustainable food journey.
And the Head Chef’s feedback says it all:
“Thanks so much for the veg. We’ve used and sold all the spring greens today and had great feedback… If you have more, you can send it down!”
A great illustration of how, even in the centre of London, we can grow incredible produce and bring it directly from roof to plate. 🌿
